Fine Dining 101: Raddest Restaurants Around The World!

10 fine dining restaurants around the world which you need to visit, if your taste in food is as splendiferous as mine.

There are three kinds of people in this world: people who’re neutral towards food (they have a favourite cuisine and a restaurant they frequently visit because they enjoy the food available there), people who eat to live, and people who live to eat. I belong to the third category. Even though we’re very picky about what we eat, our zest for food is so much that we’re always up for trying something new. Whether its something super spicy to gooey and cheesy to sugary sweet, I’ll eat everything at least once or maybe twice.

Just recently I decided to take my love for food to the next level and visit the most trending restaurants around the world in twenty-seventeen. It would be my version of a pilgrimage — imagine sipping wine in France, eating spaghetti in Italy, trying Peruvian cuisine….

So if the first thought when you wake up is, ‘what will I eat for breakfast’, and you are absolutely obsessed with food then make sure you at least once in your life visit these places.

Eleven Madison Park - New York, USA
Michelin starred chef Daniel Humm’s restaurant is the most trending place in the Big Apple because of its scrumptious food. With its art deco-style architecture, breathtaking view, multi-course tasting menu paired with an exquisite wine and cocktail list, Eleven Madison Park is attracting customers like bees to a nectar.

Mirazur - Menton, France
Overlooking the French Riviera is a beautiful restaurant called Mirazur. The cuisine is inspired by the chef’s Argentinian-Italian heritage and the local French region. Add to the delish food a glass of wine. Simply heaven on earth!

El Cellar De Can Roca - Girona, Spain
This restaurant by the Roca brothers has been ranked world number one twice and it serves the most mouthwatering food which is presented in a very creative manner. A wine cellar which has 60,000 bottles and the caramelised olives on the Bonzai tree is all the rage here.

Osteria Francescana - Modena, Italy
Nestled in an ancient building in Modena, Osteria Francescana is one of the A1 restaurants around the world that serves fresh authentic Italian dishes which leaves you wanting for more.

Central Restaurante - Lima, Peru
Set in a home-turned-restaurant which was the chef’s childhood home, Central Restaurante gives a home away from home vibe. The food served here explores the biodiversity of Peru. The cuisine here takes you through every altitude from 20 metres below sea level to 41,000 metres above it.

Gaggan - Bangkok, Thailand
Gaggan is an incredible restaurant in the heart of Bangkok serving the most delicious Indian cuisine and every dish here is a delight to your taste buds. Your journey into this restaurant begins with a walk through the glass-walled walk away which is absolutely marvellous.

Steirereck - Vienna, Austria
Steirereck is a funky reflective building in which traditional Austrian food is served — creating a perfect balance between the old and the new. The Mountain fish, Char, which is cooked at the table in hot beeswax is the most sought-after dish here.

Alinea - Chicago, USA
Rated the number one restaurant in Chicago, Alinea has got a chic vibe to it because of the quirky interiors, the huge LED chandelier and the upstairs floor which is curated by a Chicago gallery owner. The signature dish here, it’s helium taffy balloons from which you’re supposed to suck down the sticky and sweet dessert. A one-way ticket to Chicago, please!

Asador Etxebarri - Axpe, Spain
Asador Etxebarri is a fine dining restaurant in a rural setting which gives a throwback into time feel. Diners are surprised to learn that everything here is cooked over a grill, even the dessert. It has got a very relaxed vibe.

Robuchon au Dome - Macau, China
Where better to enjoy a superb and well-crafted French cuisine than in a vaulted glass dome 43 floors above the ground. The magnificent Swarovski crystal chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling over a piano, makes you feel as if you have entered a Hollywood movie set.
